The womens’ caucus is hosting our first post-COVID breakfast which feature inspiring speakers and an opportunity to network with others working to elact women and advance womens’ issues in the Commonwealth. All proceeds from the breakfast will go to supporting Democratic women running for office.

The women’s caucus of the democratic party of Virginia submitted a resolution to the State Central committee affirming its opposition to the imposition of restrictions on reproductive choice by the governments of the Commonwealth or the United States, and stand in solidarity with women in states where abortion has become or soon will become illegal. We are calling upon the General Assembly of Virginia and the United States Congress to take such actions as may be necessary to protect the right to safe and legal abortion and to codify the right to safe and legal abortion in the Virginia Code.
